Hi-My Beoremote one batteries run out very quickly. They last about 3 weeks max before failing.

Is this normal?

Definitely not

I have 2 remotes- the batteries last around 9 months, give or take

I had the same problem. The batteries are probably in contact with the housing and thus discharge themselves. Isolation tape over the poles can help!
