Hi everyone,
First time on here so hopefully this is the right spot for this!
My partner purchased a beosound stage soundbar and it's hooked up, mounted and we love it. However, for some reason we're having a heck of a time with it recognizing a second source. 99% of the time we're using it with the Apple TV hooked up via HDMI, but we also have a 3.5mm jack hooked up to a turntable. No matter what we do, it doesn't want to play the record. I can hear the sound coming faintly from the player, but the soundbar is not switching its input automatically.
We have heard it work twice after shutting everything down multiple times, unplugging and plugging in the 3.5 plug into the bar and it's worked two or three times. Then when we go to watch tv, it switches to the Apple TV no problem. We no longer hear the record, and now hear the tv show/movie. However, if we then want to play a record, the soundbar refuses to allow the record to take over. We shut everything down, turn the record player on, plug and unplug wires and it will not play. It feels like it's been a fluke the few times it has worked.
We've also reached out to B&O and their response was pretty much that it "should just work"...lol
We don't want to buy the $600 remote control, and there doesn't seem to be any way to switch the source input via the app (that we can see) so we're at a loss as to how to either make the soundbar recognize the different input and/or manually change the input ourselves on demand.
Has anyone come across this and have any ideas of how we can play a record?
Thanks!

Thanks for responding! We have an external phono amp attached to the stage.
We've played with the detection level before, but tried it again just now making sure to set it to high. It didn't detect the record player. We turned the tv off (which turns off the apple tv) and then tried what we think was putting the stage in "standby" and the record player did not trigger it to turn on. So then we powered up the stage using the power button and the Tune In radio plays but it's still not recognizing the record that's been playing.
Someone on reddit just managed to solve my issue! It ended up being both maddeningly simple, and also so frustrating that nowhere is this laid out so in case anyone else encounters this, here is what the person told me:
To manually switch to Line-In start by opening the app, going to settings and enabling BeoLink.
Now you have a Black bar in the bottom of your app. Click it and make sure it is set to Stage. Click the 3 little dots and set it to Line-In
Thanks everyone!
Haha you would assume it would be!
