Hi Happy New Year !

I have a Beocenter 9500 which was not used for long time. recently I wanted to play it and when switched On there was smoke from CD Servo PCB 30 and upon inspection I saw Resistor 3107 and 3108 burnt 4.7 Ohms. What is the cause of it. How to make it work again. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Seized spindle motor?
Will it rotate easily by hand?

I have the same problem. The DC motor is not seized and works fine. It also took out the servo and decoder board.

Does anyone here know anyone who can do board level repairs on the decoder card / servo card for the CD mech?

I sent it an authorized B&O service center, 9 months later they told me that it can't be fixed.
