Hi,

i have a setup with a Beolink ML/NL and a Bella’s 3500, and everything is working nicely.

The Beolinkk NL/ML has the option of turning on automatically if signal is detected on the line in, but is there anyway to get it to wake the Beolab 3500 remotely, such that applying signal to the line in causes it to start playing on the Beolab 3500 without further interaction required?

Any input is appreciated! Thanks :)

Hi,

I've been struggling with similar problems. As I don't know Your setup it's a bit difficult to answer.

What I do know is that the BL 3500 does not work as a PowerLink speaker but need an audiomaster

or videomaster which support the current. The BLC NL/ML can only take on the role as such but not

supply the required current. Thought I read somewhere that it had been upgraded to do just that but

can't find it. So to solve my problem, my BL3500 connected to the BLC NL/ML, I've ordered a

ML Power Box which should be placed between the BLC and BL3500. I've not tested it yet so I

don't know if it will do the trick but certainly hope so. Maybe You can use a macro to trigger

the BL3500 depending on what's on the line in on the BLC.

Presumably only with a BLGW this would be possible.

A Macro sees the status change of the BLC and starts in response the BL3500.

Of course, I assumed there was a blgw in Your setup, which is not necessary.

Do you mean in your setup the BL3500 auto-starts when a signal is detected Line-in of the  Beolink Converter NL/ML?

Out of curiousity, how did you do that?

No. I'm sorry, I meant that it's not necessary in general nl/ml setups.

I've ordered a ML power box to solve the problem as my bl3500 have

worked on wireless1 which I found out is not compatible with the blgw.

So an additional BLC NL/ML (or a core) will be placed by the BL3500

with the power box in between.
