I could do Miki, no harm I guess. My current tv is an 11-46 so how do you think a 65" might compare to that? It's currently right up against the wall on a motorised stand even though I don't turn the stand.
B&O products are V1-32, BS2, H95, E8 and an Essence remote.11-46 now replaced with Sony A90J 65”, Sony HT-A9, Sony UBP-X800M2 and Sony SRS-NS7.
So a bv11-46 on floorstand sits 108.7 cm of the ground & is 109.7 cm wide
a bv harmony 65'' sits 99.1cm of the ground when off & is 144.9 cm wide
and the bv harmony 77'' sits 115 cm of the ground when off & is 172.2 wide.
It's up to you and your room if that fits or not, I don't know your room. But to me this is the beauty of the harmony in that it's very unobtrusive when it's off even for very large sizes. and the difference between a 65'' screen and a 77'' screen is fairly substantial, it's has ~40% more screen size for only a 16cm higher tv when it's off. (while only being 6cm taller than your bv 11-46 which doesn't change height when on or off)
Measure it I would say and or send a picture so we can see what would and wouldn't work.

Beonic Man, why don’t you just try all the versions at home in augmented reality with the excellent app « B&O Experience » from Bang & Olufsen?

This is an excellent idea, will do! Thanks for the great suggestion.
Thanks Miki for your great suggestions.
Just to double check with the Harmony as I haven't really considered it until now, but am I right in assuming that it is primarily the speaker system and moving parts I am buying? Other than that, the screen can be replaced every few years with whatever LG bring out as the latest and greatest? Is that about right? Thanks, Simon.
Hello ,i am interrested by the point of choosing LG G1 instead LG GX for an Eclipse MK2 .
is there somebody have made the installation by bang olufsen? I ask to my dealer but he is in « holidays » ( in France all shops are Closer by Covid )
i read that LG G1 have a new panel which is more Bright and a new processor ..May be the differences between the two panels ( G1 vs GX) is very poor ? i have the first Eclipse in 55 (2018) and if buy an other Eclipse it will be 65 pouces ..it will be Pitty not to have last panel ?
what do you think ?
thanks a lot
ps sorry for my poor english i am in France

It'll be about right until they discontinue 65, 77 and 88 panels in favour of 67,79 and 91 (or such like) I suppose...
I've just broke the bank, maxed out the credit cards and smashed my piggy bank and gone for the Harmony and a G1 77". Looking forward to it arriving!

Congrats on that - I hope we will hear what you think.......once it has been set uo.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
Well. Once my 7-55 is done I might take the same route as you :-) Let’s see what my bank says at that time.
Looking forward to hear from your experience on this one - I really like the tv.
and actually the other new products as well.
No body have expérience on Eclipse mk2 with the new LG G1 in 65 ? Is it compatible
thanks
As far as I understand it, B&O (or LG) has to make something so that it's software from the GX is available on the G1 (it was the case from G9 to GX, the B&O app wasn't available from day 1 on the GX even if it's the same app as on the G9).
So if you manage to buy this combo today, you will have limited functionality until the B&O app appears on the G1 app store.
Thanks a lot for your reply..if B&O works on this software we can wait from weeks to months..
you Say that if i buy this combo ( G1 & Eclipse 2 ) i can use it with small functionality what you mean ? On ly the panel G1 without the sound bar ( Eclipse) or i have to connect my Apple tv etc ..on the LG G1 hdmi and perhaps to use the apps ( Netflix.. ) i cannot do that with beoremote but with LG remote or apps?
Hello, somebody have Bouchut elclipse mk2 with le g1 évoque? What is your expérience thanks
Hello somebody have bought Eclipse mk2 with LG G1 évoque ? Thanks for your reviens
I bought the G1 77" to go with my Harmony, and today had the G1 screen professionally calibrated.
The guy who did it said the G1 processing and panel was a huge leap from the GX. He was very impressed with my G1 'out of the box' - and after proper calibration it's taken on a very natural, almost plasma-like tone - but with clarity, detail and blacks like you've never seen.
I'm very happy.

Sounds interesting. Would you share who calibrated (either here or DM) as I'd be interested.
I have a GX 65" but seriously considering moving up to the G1 77" as the white wall space is huge and the 65" isn't in proportion with the space.
Thanks lee for your expérience i am waiting for an Eclipse mk2 with g1 evo in 75 i will received it May be in the end of june
i search for some parameters to « calibrate « my future Tv
WHEN I received i shall give my opinion Good day

I ordered my G1 77" last week (after Lee's post!) and it had a 8-14 working day delivery. Immediately after ordering, this switched to 'there are significant manufacturing delays on this panel'
Gulp.

Replying to my own post!
G1 77" finally turned up yesterday. The colours are better than the previous GX 65". UI is improved, too. Fits in the space a lot better than the 65".
Note, this TV cabinet is temporary!

Edge? The Balance is elsewhere:
Edge has a very strange sound. Balance is much better!

steve1977:[This looks spectacular, congrats!!! Makes me rethink again whether going with an harmony makes any sense. The G1 77 seems amazing.

Thanks. New cabinet arrives in two weeks, which will replace that small/temporary one.
I'd say the LG G1 77" is fantastic, but remember you can't connect external speakers to that setup - maybe it's worth looking at whether B&O bring out a Stage rev.2 or a Stage NG which allows external speakers. My dealer mentioned it start of the year. Would make sense. It would be more like the 'sound center' from the Eclipse, priced at £2500 or thereabouts.
