now i want one more in my bed room ..
i Got a beovision 10 and a set of 3 speakers ..
how do i do ? Can i connect the playmaker to the tv ? (The tv has powerlink to the speakers )
Have a look at Millemissen's 31 Jan post in this thread: https://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/t/29504.aspx
Relevant part as follows:
Millemissen: Personally I’d go for a Playmaker (output of the PL set to fixed line-out) connected to a scart adapter via R/L - that is, if you are into AirPlaying. Set the BV to option 2 (if ML built-in). Sending the AV command before the Source selected for the scart, then will result in the tv starting up with a muted screen. MM

And if you need further help with the Playmaker setup then there is lots of information in the publication 'Installation Guide for installation and setup of Playmaker Version 1.0' Unfortunately I can't find a copy on the site but an internet search should find it. Otherwise, let me know and I'll PM you a copy.
A copy of the Playmaker Setup Manual version 1 can be found HERE

Thanks Keith - I do struggle with those User Manual menu/folder structures. In this case I didn't realise that the Playmaker was a 'Beoplay' device. Any chance that a 'search' function could be added to 'User and Service Manuals' (like the one for 'Products')?

My copy too is complete as single 1Mb pdf, let me know if you need it. (It's also quite good quality, not a scan).

lawrencejmcook:Hi Keith, Per my post from last August: “I have two pdfs for the Beoplay V1 wall brackets: - One for Type numbers 4726 / 4737 - One for Type numbers 4752 / 4753 I’m happy to submit them for inclusion in the Beoworld User Guide library if you tell me where to send them. They’re no longer on the B&O zendesk site, as far as I can see.” Lawrence

After all these years I still use my Playmaker.
It was replaced by the BS Essence 2nd gen.
Nowadays I use it in a small standalone setup for headphone listening.
It is connected to a humble ProJect headphone amp - I use the AirPlay part and my trusty old Panasonic CD/SACD player on the line-in.
I still do like the Playmaker - it was my/B&O’s first bid on a wireless streaming device.
The Guide that was linked to in this thread is essential - it contains all you’d need to know for configuring the Playmaker.
Important if you want to us it this way is, that it is set to fixed line-output and that the ir reception is disabled = Option 0.
Best use a network cable.....if possible - they can be rather tricky in a wireless setup.
(I had mine on a wireless connections for years, though - without problems).
The line-in connection of the Playmaker is very handy, since it autodetects the incoming input. That can easily be used for a turntable or a CD player....
Instead of the method, that was mentioned in the linked thread of mine, I’d give a setup with the Beolink Converter 1611 a try.
This converter can work as a Masterlink driver - you just have to connect that with a Masterlink cable to the BV10.....and you can hide that and the Playmaker away.
There is a tv - and there is a BV
