We are planning to have some new furniture so my lovely Beovox RL 60.2 speakers may have to go. Can you recommend speakers with a smaller footprint of equivalent quality whether B and O or not. The speakers are driven by a Beomaster 5500 system (amp, phono, tape deck and CD).

S45-2s sound amazingly good for their size. Not sure about non B&O speakers as I quite like the way B&O ones sound.

I agree on the Beovox S45 (type 6302) and S45-2 (type 6312).
A well serviced pair of Beovox 3700 or 3702 may also come in close.
The whole "7"-series (1700/2700/3700/4700/5700) is vastly underrated, if you ask me.
They have an amazingly pleasant sound.
