Hello!
Just got my new Bang Olufsen Beoplay H9 3gen.
Right after turning them on one hear a low electric disturb/like a very low coil whine sound.
Sound is always coming from right side.
It dissapear after it connect to Bluetooth but if i pause the music i can still hear it comes on and whine for 4-5 seconds, then dissapear for 4-5 seconds then coming back. But this time after pairing the noise is lower but it is there.
One could compare the sound with tinnitus.
If one use them one dosnt hear it, but as soon as they dont play anything but still connected you can hear it from time to another.
Is this a major problem? Is this just the way they are?
Very unsure what to do, keep them or return them and look for something else?
Have tried the most of Bluetooth headphones in this price range and this is the best for me, most comfortable use and they play open and same time good bass, so it’s a shame to not own them because of this.
Same time im affraid it could be something wrong and it’s annoying to hear this, never heard it in any other headphones i have tested.
Thanks for any information or advice about this.
Best Regards Ray
After trying them more it sounds loudest at startup, then after they have the same sound but Harder to hear, it comes and goes for every 5 seconds then after one start to use it the whine sound does not seems to appear anymore.
Absolutely normal.
A bit annoying, but all of them have it (and not just the H9 3rd Gen).
Thanks for the answer, it dosnt bother too much but same time never heard unit before in other headphones so it kinda strange, but it dosnt make them sound bad or anything.
