Hi all,

Happy Friday.

I urgently want to use the record player on Beocentre 2000. The radio and cassette work via the speakers perfectly. But the record player is not connecting to the speakers for some reason. I can hear the record play from the turntable but obviously need it to connect to the speakers. It was working a week ago but may have been damaged whilst moving home. Could someone please help? I can post photos if necessary?

thanks for your help!

Hi Hughie,

Not sure if your Beocebter 2000 is the same, but some of the old Beocentrers had an external DIN plug that came out of the cabinet at the back and plugged into the Phono input socket. They were not internally wired.

If yours is like that, the plug may have come out.

Good idea, but there is no external lead on Beocenter 2000.

And you did select Phono as the source?

Thanks for your response Martin - yes selected Phono as source.

As mentioned this was working last week so I havent changed anything.

Bloody movers didn't take care of it.

Might have to replace.

Thanks again,
