Hi all,

I will probably buy a BS5e for playing my digital music and internetradio. I just love the looks and design! Much better than any other networkplayer and yes, I am aware of the limitations of the Encore. A BS5/BM5-combo is too expensive for me at the moment. There is a pricefall of the BS5e to €1995 instead of €2600. The bs5/bm5 combination goes now for about €3300. Probably a new audiosystem will be announced soon?!

I know I can connect the Encore to the aux-in of my Beosound and play the music throughmy house via ML.

But I was wondering if it is possible to use the Encore with the new converter so the Encore is integrated in a ML-network.

Does anyone have experience with this solution?

Looking forward to your answers.

Kind regards,

My understanding is that BS5e is a standalone product, not a ML or NL product. Without a NL interface on the BS5e, I fail to see how NL/ML convertor can be used.

You bring up a good point, the crippled interface options on the Encore. I'd probably be using one now except for the problems interfacing it with my Beosound 9000 and Beogram 3000. A sale lost for the want of a little flexibility.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad
