Just can't figure out what that is on the lower left corner. Hmm I hope it's not what I'm thinkingIck!

Looks like glue remains from a record cleaning brush or something.
Could be a foam pad.
Could be araldite.
Seems a previous owner modified and/or redesigned this poor Beogram using non-original parts ... Laughing

Agree - looks like glue from a dust bug. I imagine it would be easy to clean off.
