Dismantling remote

Hi

Anyone know how to open the black plastic part of the Beoremote One as per the picture? IR not working

I removed the screws but it still doesn't open?

I wouldn’t open it up without knowing what I do. Are you sure it’s not just a menu choice done wrong? Maybe you accidentally set it in Bluetooth mode so ir does not activate? Maybe try to change source to an IR mode first, and use new batteries.

Thanks for the reply. I've tried every option I can think of. New batteries and I've put the remote in beo4 mode..... Still nothing. I've checked the IR strength.... put it on maximum. No luck.

Can you see the IR emmitter blinking when you point it at a video camera or phone camera (I'm told an iPhone may not show it). At least  that will show if it is emitting IR.

Hi Stoobie 

No light emitting when trying with my phone camera. My other beoremote One I have shows up on the camera

On a iPhone you need to use the front camera to see the ir.

I'm using a Samsung. I did a factory reset of the remote as well. No difference. Perhaps its a software issue? 🤔screen works perfectly and all the buttons. Very strange
