I am upgrading my TV to an LG OLED which is Wisa compatible.
Currently, I have a Beosystem 3 – driving my surround setup:
Question:
I would like to make all the speakers above Wisa compatible – is Beolab Receiver 1 an option. Is there any better, more economical option?
Hoping there is a dongle like accessory which I connect to each speaker to make them Wisa compatible?

Your LG TV is WISA compatible, but you still need a dongle, like a Soundsend or Axiim dongle.
Every Beolab needs a wisa Beolab 1 receiver (pricey!)

Wish I could find cheaper other brand rca wisa receivers. Because it would be a perfect solution: surround sound directly from LG TV (I have a C9 oled), using the LG stock remote for volume. No extra av-receivers, processors, etc needed.
I use R1 boxes on 5 older beolabs, and beolab 18/9’s. Klipsch hub. No latency issues ever. Geoff explain why in one of his extremely helpful articles.
(need to replace the hub as it is getting old)
