Hi,

I made a project to use the IR commands from the IR eye in home automation. These commands are published to a MQTT server running on a RapsberryPi, and are later being used in Home Assistant. The press of a button on the IR eye is also published to MQTT and you can control the LEDs on the IR eye.

I have also made smart control for my Beosound Century with inspiration from pinter75. I used a SparkFun Pro Micro and a couple optocouplers to control the Radio, Tape, Aux and Standby button. It can also be controlled via MQTT and HomeAssistant. I have also made a HomeKit configuration, so you can turn it on or off and change the source.  If you have the IR eye in the same room as the century, you can also have the state and source updated on HomeAssistant and HomeKit.

My IR eye came without the backplate, so I designed my own. It is also available in the repository.

I hope somebody can use it Big Smile
