I have now got my Beo6 up and running with another charger from my dealer. However, I cannot get it to operate my Beomaster5. The IR commands seem to work, but there is no two-way connection (no covers) when I choose the “Standard” scene I get what looks like a default set-up and I cannot interact with Beomaster5

Beo6 is connected to the same WiFi network as the Beomaster5 and they seem to be on the same subnet:

Beo6 IP: 192.168.0.xxx
server IP (Beomaster): 192.168.0.xx

The Beo6 is wireless whereas Beomaster5 is wired and according to another thread that may be a problem.

Any ideas of how to tweak my router or other suggestions of how to connect Beo6 with Beomaster5?

Thanks.

Noone?

I`ve really tried to get it to work but I’m stuck. My Beo6 does not communicate with BM5☹️

Are the remote configured with the Beomaster 5 source in the Config Tool ?

If it is programmed correctly, it will not show anything.

No, I have not tried the  CT . I was told by my dealer that when it is a “one-to-one” set-up, I could do  that directly from Beo6.

But maybe that is not correct? (I’m used to Mac and do not own a Windows computer)
