Adjusting the plater height on BeoGram 4002

I would like to raise the plater to make it flush with surrounding surface. Watched a video demonstrating a technique used on the BeoGram 4000 where 3 screws are adjusted on the suspension. But my 4002 lacks these screws and has tree bolts that hold the suspension in place. Am I missing something?

I think these are the adjustments your looking for, the pic shows the adjustment screw and locking nut sat atop of one of the leaf springs that provide the suspension....

Thank you for this.  Yes I see the screw with the locking nut. I have the same thing except that my screws have no slot on the top for the screw driver.  Never seen this in the manuals of videos. just don't know what to do next

The Beogram 4002 Type 5513 service manual page 3-1 shows the adjustment procedure for the platter height relative to the tonearm (fixed arm).  That is the height adjustment for proper turntable performance so get that adjustment correct first.

The adjustment you are working with regard to the platter surface being flush with the Beogram 4002 deck is the cosmetic adjustment so the Beogram looks great. It is also on page 3-1 of the Beogram 4002 Type 5513 service manual.

The hardware for the floating chassis springs changed in the various Beogram 400x types but the design is the same and the adjustments very similar.
The adjusting procedure can be time consuming and tricky. The different mechanical adjustments leading up to the final cosmetic adjustments all affect each other. It is possible to end up with a situation where the leaf springs for the floating suspension are too tight when the platter is flush with the Beogram deck. That means an earlier adjustment is not correct. The fitting of the floating chassis on the transport locking screws greatly affect the limits you can later adjust on the leaf springs. In any case, the most important height adjustment is still the main hub adjustment for the 23 mm distance of the platter surface to the top of the tonearm/fixed arm.
