Hi,
does anybody use this combination? I can play music on my beoplay a6, but not on my core.
I'm looking for a solution to play my flac music files with my core. I know the B&O App, but this app is really bad for a big music collection.
So i tried audirvana, because they have a nice app for ipad and iphone - i think...
Do you have any ideas?
BS9000 + BS Core + Beosystem 3 + BL8000 + BL4 + BL2 + BL7-1 // BeoVision 7 32“ + BL8000 // Beoplay M5 // Beoplay S3 // 2x BL3500 // 2x BeoPlay A6 + 2x Essence Remote // 2x BeoSound 8 // Playmaker + BL6000

BS Moment, BS Core, BG 4002, BC 4500, BS1, BL18, BL19, BL8000 + RCV1, A6, M5, M3, A1, P6 (tks Botty), H5, TR1
mbolo01:Hi - How do you play your music to your A6? You should be able to do the same with the Core (I’m assuming you have speakers connected to the Core) BS Moment, BS Core, BG 4002, BC 4500, BS1, BL18, BL19, BL8000 + RCV1, A6, M5, M3, A1, P6 (tks Botty), H5, TR1
and what is the path between Audirvana and the Core?
mbolo01:and what is the path between Audirvana and the Core? BS Moment, BS Core, BG 4002, BC 4500, BS1, BL18, BL19, BL8000 + RCV1, A6, M5, M3, A1, P6 (tks Botty), H5, TR1
jgraefe:Audirvana Runs on a Mac Mini Server Core2Duo (connected via LAN) and the Core is also connected via LAN. The A6 is connected via WLAN.
Are you using Audirvana as a DLNA server?
jgraefe:I know the B&O App, but this app is really bad for a big music collection.
jgraefe:Audirvana is Not starting playing music.
Restart Audirvana. Choose Core as output device in Audirvana. Start to play music........... Does Audirvana start to play now?
mbolo01:Are you using Audirvana as a DLNA server?
Audirvana is no dlna server
jgraefe:The Audirvana App is showing the Core, so i think its dlna?
I don't know the Audirvana app but it seems to only be a remote if it is the IOS App you are referring to, which means that either Airplay is used from the Mac Mini, or the Audirvana App acts as a DLNA controller for the Audirvana server running on the mac mini and the Core DLNA renderer service.
Have you tried adding the Audirvana DLNA server in the B&O App to see if (1) it sees the DLNA server and (2) if you get a sound this way?
How to (case needed): In the B&O App go to settings (the body shape at the top right), Music, DLNA, + (top right) should list the available DLNA server(s) on your LAN
jgraefe:Ist works After restarting everything.
if you do so, it will work just fine.
jgraefe:Audirvana does not have a dlna Server.
mbolo01:Are you then using AirPlay between the Audirvana server and you Core? I guess as you never mentioned about any hard link between the Mac mini and your B&O products
jgraefe:Yo, its dlna Streaming. It works the hole day. But it Runs Not so harmonic with B&O beolink.
@mbolo01
mbolo01:So Audirvana is a DLNA server
@jgraefe
"But it Runs Not so harmonic with B&O beolink". How do you mean? ML? NL?
I start playing Audirvana as an UPnP stream on my Beoplay A6. I can multiroom this music stream in sync to al my other NL devices. on the moment of writing 8 (of the 11 NL) devices are playing in sync music streaming from Qobuz (through Audirvana).
Carolpa:No, not in the sense as a full DLNA server (as Twonky, Minimserver, etc)
