I need your help. I am currently reworking a Beosound Overture and have swapped the belt on the cassette deck. But now I am no longer sure how the spring has to be adjusted. Unfortunately, when I slide it into the holder, the coils no longer turn. Is there a trick here?

Here is a photo of the spring.

The problem is that once installed, the spring blocks the sound head when it goes up. Behind the spring is a small metal ball and the spring is to the front. And there is no lock on the right side.

The metal plates two arms should rest on the forward edge of the capstan bearings - not on the capstan spindles.
The plate holder has broken at the right side, you will have to glue it back onto the black plastic as good as you can.
