I am making a wheel stand for my 65” LG C9

Could someone help me calculate the dimensions i would need for it to be of similar stability as the horizon stand?

The dimensino of the original stand can be found here: https://beointegration.com/wp-content/uploads/sheets/BeoVision%20Horizon.pdf

Hi, nice plan!

For left to right I would say that if you leave the centre of gravity unchanged (keep the centre of the 65" LG panel at the same spot as the centre of the 40"/48" Horizon) you will be fine. You then don't change the tilting angle and keep the same stability. But from an aesthetics perspective it would be an idea to keep the same dimensional ratio (as the 48" has) and make the base 1449/1082 = 1.33 times the width (and depth) of the original. Otherwise it might look too narrow.

For front to back, as the C9 is probably thinner, you can choose the right position of the bottom horizontal bar in such a way that (again) the centre of gravity is sitting in the middle of the wheels (front to back). I would think it comes a bit forward vs a Horizon: the C9 is 47mm thick, the Horizon 80.

Having a C9 55" myself I even think that the centre of gravity of the LG is lower than that of a Horizon, as there is no cabinet, and the speakers and electronics are at the bottom.

Hope this helps! Looking forward to see the result.

I am also making the pole electric so it can be heighten and lowered.

Anyone with a Horizon that can give me the width of the wheelstand?

on the b&o site you can find the cad files https://support.bang-olufsen.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041950671-Beovision-Horizon

I do not have a cad system (only viewers) si I cannot measure, but if the grid the in the 3d environment is based on cm, it is about 620mm wide (the frame).

Looks good! And in proportion. But does the lady on the screen trust your work? :-)

Did you ever finish this one? I have a C9 55” as well I would like to put wheels on. So any help/drawings would be much appreciated.
