I have a Beovision 7-55 Mk2 and it has a tendency to 'hang' It is connected to a Masterlink set up including Beosound 9000 and 5.
When watching television it can sometimes take a number of seconds to respond to a command from the Beo 4 remote.
Yesterday evening I had to switch it off by cutting the power from the wall socket, it would not turn off from the remote even after a considerable delay
My friendly Bang and Olufsen engineer said some months ago that the 7-55 was a very reliable piece of kit with a build quality akin to the Mercedes Benz W124 E class, i.e. bullet proof.
What are the suggested solutions to this issue?
Same problem here with my Beovision 7-40 mk 6 since new. In my case the hanging is mostly with the internal DVB-T HD module.
