Good afternoon.  I wanted to try my dad's old MXR 10 band EQ.  I have no idea how to hook it up. I have a full Beogram 5500 set up and wanted to know how to try our the graphic EQ.  Is it as simple as pulling the pins from the line and out on the 5500 receiver, and looping in the EQ? Also, on the EQ, do I run it simply from the line out & line in jacks? or do i need to use the Tape record/ Tape monitor in and out on the back of the EQ?

Thanks and sorry if this topic has been beaten to death.  David

Hi,

yes you would use the line in/out jacks that have jumper pins installed. On the EQ you'd also you use line in/out. Remember that in/out is from the perspective of the unit - in on the BM5500 is out on the EQ and so on.
