I'm looking for the cheapest way to add N.RADIO to a Masterlink network.
Currently on the Masterlink network, there are Avant 32" DVD (video master), Avant 32" RF, Beovision MX4002. Also available, but not currently in the network are Beosystem 5500 and BeoLink PC2.
The video master has all SCART sockets already in use, but there's a SCART switch box on the SAT input.
I've looked at adding a BeoMedia 1, but the manual implies that it would seem to give N.RADIO only at the video master, and not distributed through the Masterlink.
The cheapest N.RADIO compatible audio master appears to be a Beocenter 1. But could this be used to distribute N.RADIO, whilst leaving the Avant DVD as the video master? If so, the logical approach seems to be to replace the MX4002 with a Beocenter 1 and use it to supply audio to the Avants.
If that would work, I still remain a little lost... would the Beocenter 1 plus the BeoLink PC2 do the job, or would a BeoMedia 1 need to be added?
Any advice would be welcome.
Mark
Since the BeoMedia1 connects directly to a TV (which could be the Video Master) presumably that means that it would be possible to play N.RADIO from the BeoMedia via the Video Master, rather than via an Audio Master. It just means that access would be via on-screen menus, rather than via the N.RADIO button and its associated functions.
Have I understood this correctly, or am I way off-plot?

Thank you, Ralf. You've spotted the problem - I foolishly assumed that "Search this site" would search the whole site - I didn't realise that I'd need to search the archived forum separately.
Ages ago, I asked about using the PC2 as an Audio Master, and was told that it couldn't be done. It's good to see that it might be possible. Clearly, I need to run some ML cable to the PC2 and see if I can find a combination that works.
I noticed a hint there that it might even be possible to use the BeoSystem 5500 on the ML network, which would be even better.
That is the 2013-way to get access to N.Radio
If it has to look 'B&O' use the official Beoplayer-app!

There is a tv - and there is a BV
