Hallo ins Forum,
ich habe eine Beolab 3500 über wireless mit dem Hauptsystem verbunden. Dort ist ein Playmaker als a.aux-Quelle an ein Beocenter 2 angeschlossen.
Die Beolab 3500 reagiert nicht auf den Beo4-Befehl a.aux. In der Bedienungsanleitung ist a.aux nicht als Quelle aufgeführt, weshalb ich davon ausgehen muss, dass dies vom Entwickler nicht vorgesehen wurde.
Gibt es vielleicht eine andere Möglichkeit, das Signal über die Beolab 3500 abzuspielen?

Start another source of the BC2 on the BL3500 (for example Radio)
Then select the A.Aux on your BC2; the BL3500 should follow.

I tried this already, but it does not work that way.
It seems as if the Beolab 3500 only "knows" the sources on the Beo4- keypad, but not the ones that can be added.
Do you know a way how to declare Beocenter 2-aux-input as "atape"?

BL3500 <-> Wireless 1.........Wireless 1<-> BC2 <-> Playmaker connected to A.Aux. Is this correct?
If you press the Radio button on the Beo4 to start the Radio source of the BC2 at the BL3500, the Radio station is playing on the BL3500? Correct?
So what happens if you then press CD button of the Beo4 in the proximity of the BC2? The BC2 and the BL3500 are switching over to playing CD?
note: you can't reprogram the sources of the BC2

just two hints to try:
1. what if you use V.Aux? (a long shot; will not work..........)
2. what if you manually switch on the BL3500 when AUX is playing on the BC2?
What is the BC2 display showing when the Playmaker is playing
I was going to suggest V.Aux like Carolpa.
in the user manual it seems to show you need to enable A.Aux in settings menu.

The root cause is the software version of your BL3500.

@Stoobietoo: a.aux was already activated.
@Carolpka: If I switch on manually when a.aux is already playing in the main-room, the a.aux-sound plays and there appears surprisingly a.aux in the display!
Seems as if I will have to buy the software-upgrade to operate BL 3500 seamlessly.
