Any Help would be Great. I have read all posts dealing with this 8002 turntable. everything has ben recapped all joints have been soldered. When i got the unit it had no power i found fuse blown in power supply after i replaced it the display had 33.33 nothing else worked, after i replaced the cap in the processor box. Now when you plug it in the platter starts turning you can select 33 or 45 and the speed changes, the tonearm does nothing at all , I replaced blub in the keypad it was blown but no change, also if i unplug and plug back in the wire coming from the cap c24 in the processor box to the main board, the standby light will come on like it should , and if i hit play the platter will turn on but that is it, any help would be great i hate to give up and sell for parts. I am no electronics person just starting thanks chuck
Any voltage across the carriage motor when you press PLAY?

I check all components in the h bridge with no luck, still getting voltage on both pins, . right now when i plug the unit in the displays says 33.33 and platter turns, also the tone arm arrow is pointing to the right, i can bring the tonearm away from the home position switch and the arrow light goes out. thats where i am right know thanks again for your help , i made need to send it to have it repaired.
Hey Martin do you sale the rebuilt kits for the beogram 8002 thanks chuck
I recently had a similar experience with my BG5005. I took it in for service and the tech said the gears were worn and no longer readily available. He was able to file and reconstruct the gears so that it is now working again. Not sure if worn gears are applicable to an 8002 but thought I'd share just in case.
