Hi,
had a beovision 1 LS with a beo1 remote. Bought second hand and the cd kept skipping. Just picked up a beocenter 1 and the beo1 remote doesn’t work. Standby light comes up, dvd tray opens and closes and that’s it. Tried google with no joy, wondering if anyone can help.

If your BC1 has been disconnected from the mains for a period you will need a PIN to activate it. The same applies after 3 unsuccessful attempts.
The BC1 may turn on its stand or give you a WAIT message. If you didn't get the PIN from the seller you will need a master code from a dealer (who will ask you for the receipt or proof of ownership).
If you get a WAIT message leave the TV plugged into the mains overnight before trying the PIN again. (Every time you unplug the TV the WAIT period will start again).
