Access Music File BeoMaster 5.

I connected a CAT5 cable from my recently purchased  used BeoMaster (the network CAT5 plug on the back of my BeoMaster 5) to my WiFi modem.  My computer sees the BeoMaster5 drive, but when I click on it, nothing happens.  Is there some type of connection process (installation process)  I need to perform?  I'm a novice and inexperienced with computers.  Please help...
