Hello I have the following idea which might completely wrong, so I need some sounding board advise. My BeoCenter 9300 works fine except that the remote does not work with the BeoCenter. I have already checked and its not the remote. Now I have the following idea:
I would like to use a Beolab 3500 and the BeoLink Wireless 1 to control the BeoCenter 9300 with the remote via the Beolab 3500. I was also looking at the same function and maybe using Beolink Converter 1611 instead of the Beolink Wireless.
Does this sound crazy or is it doable?
Any input will be greatly appreciated.
Hi and welcome to Beoworld!
Are you sure that the Beocenter is not in A.OPT 0, where it will not respond to remote commands?
What remote do you have, Beo4 or BL1000?
Further to the above:
If you have a Beo4 (the one with the LCD screen) first turn the BC9300 to standby. Then, on the Beo4, press the POWER button and LIST together. Then press LIST until OPTION is shown, press GO (centre button), and then press LIST to show A.OPT. Then press 1. The number 1 should appear on the little display top right of the BC9300. The remote should now work.
If you have a BL1000, then with the BC9300 at standby, simply press SOUND 1 STORE.
Hi Guy,
thank you for your welcome.
I have tried with both BL1000 that he’s been freshly reworked and the Beo4.
When I press with the Center Sound, 1, Store the the standby light does not blink.
With Beo 4 nothing happens at all.
I had a Beocenter 9000 from the beginning when they sold them, but as to expected the CD does not work anymore so I decided to look for another Beocenter. All the 9500 with a reasonable price either the CD or the Tape or would not work. When I had the Boecenter 9300 I tried with the remote I had for the 9000 but it did not work that’s why I got a BL 1000.So I have tried three different remotes with no success.
Remote control receiver not working is a standard problem with Beocenter 9300.Repair kit here.
