Hi All
apologies if this is a very basic question but I can’t seem to find an answer that isn’t about disassembly.
I have just acquired a 4002 and it needs some TLC on the dust cover to remove blemishes etc. I’m going to use Scratch X but want to remove the cover intact as the springs etc work perfectly so don’t see the need to disassemble the cover from the rear section, just want to remove it from the table.
is it just a case of undoing two screws under the rear? Then what? Pull back, lift off?
thanks for any assistance, I don’t want to get this wrong or break anything.
Solved. Easy.
I have this same issue, how did you go about solving removing the dusk cover?
There are two screw in recesses in the back corners of the bottom. Loosening but not removing those will release a captive fastener that allows you to slide the cover off to the rear. Perform this with the cover fully open.
And adjust the cover back/forth/sideways when fitting it back.
