hi just brought a beomaster 6000 early type .the black perspex  is badley scratched .I would like to know the best way to deal with this problem ?and if so would I lose the film that covers the perspex ? thanks

Hi,

Trouble is, there is indeed a foil on the surface which is impossible to polish.

Remove that foil first (I use strong adhesive tape) and polish – yes it’s a destructive process.

However, you will never get the original feel and texture.
