Hi :-)

I have a Beosound 3200 in my kitchen and would like to install a Beocenter 2 in my livingroom.

The problem is that my kitchen and living room is connected, so I am afraid that my Beo4 will remote both systems simultaneously. Is it possible to program the systems, so I can assign a Beo4 remote for each system?

Thank you:

If one of the two systems can be put in A.OPT 4 (where it only responds to LINK commands) then you should be able to set it up as you want, so that it will only respond to a remote set to permanent link mode.

But unfortunately I do not know if either BS3200 or BC2 can be put in A.OPT 4 - perhaps someone else on the forum does?  The BS3200 does not list A.OPT 4 as a possibility, but perhaps just give it a try.

If you do manage to get one on the systems to A.OPT 4, then you can hopefully set one of your Beo4s to permanent LINK mode as follows: (the Beo4 must be at least SW version 5.0)

Standby + List together

Press List till CONFIG appears

Enter 2002 , the display should read LINK ON

Press Exit

Thank you for the reply, I can’t make the option 4, work at my BS3200, my Beo4 is ver. 5.
Option 4 is not listed in the manual, for BS3200. But thank you for trying.
