Dear Beoworld Community,

When I select CD or RADIO from my BeoSound 9000, it appears on my Avant Screen but there is no sound. I can select CD via any of my ML speakers etc and I get sound. The NL/ML converter green LED is flashing normally.

Any advice would be most gratefully received.

Hi, you should give more info to evaluate your question.

1. what is how connected? Component in your system and how are they connected.

2. the speakers are connected to the BS9000?  or what does "any ML speakers" mean?

3. How is the BLC set? A.Slave? V.Master? or...?

4. is the BLC continiously green flashing?

Thank you Carolpa,

All of my products were ML until I upgraded my BeoVision 5 to an Avant at which point I had to have a NL/ML Converter.

My BeoSound 9000 is in another room (with some BeoLab 9). I can play it throughout the house by selecting CD on my Beo3. I have BeoLab 2500, 3500, 4000 and BeoVision 7.

I don't know how the Nl/ML is configured.

It is flashing continuously green.

Thanks again.

it should not.

So unplug the mains of the BLC, wait a minute and replug. Wait till the BLC has startup completely.

The light should be continuous green.

Then try again to start a CD on the Avant

Dear Carolpa,

IT WORKED! Thank you so much.

The LED went from green flashing to continuously green briefly and then wasn't illuminated.

I haven't posted on Beoworld in ages and this is the first time that I have resolved a problem so quickly.

I am sorry that my original post wasn't more detailed. I don't have a huge technical knowledge and didn't know that when I upgraded my TV that it would need an additional interface for my ML products to still work.

Thanks again.
