Wooden beoremote one

Been curious about making my own frame for the BeoRemote one. Instead of the aluminum models I’m considering making one out of wood at work where we have wood carving machinery.

I’m a bit surprised B&O hasn’t done one as they are using so much wood nowadays but maybe sweat is an issue? I guess it could be lacquered though or at least patinate nicely. Surely softer and better for people with kids and or glass tables too.

Anyone curious and should I make a prototype? :)

Why not from B&O? It is so sustainably produced.

I sure hope that those, that Michael or Leo have in mind, will look better than that 😉

It will be interesting to see what Michael’s CNC version will look against my hand carved one.

I think Michael’s will be better.

Sadly no! I've had a sad year with my mother passing very early and a lot of depression due to covid and working from home etc. So I haven't had the energy really. But maybe in the future. However you seem to be pretty talented in woodworking!
