Hey everyone! So I’m in dire need of some new headphones due to work from home arrangements with my significant other meaning I can’t just go wild with my speakers all day. I’m also unable to visit a dealer to try these headphones out so I’m hoping to get some honest feedback before I decide what to get.

Personally the Sennheiser HD800 is the pinnacle of headphone comfort (for wired headphones) though the wireless Bose QC35 II isn’t too bad either. I’ve never tried B&O headphones however so are there any HD800 (or even QC35 II) owners here who can comment on how B&O’s offerings compare?

I was originally hoping to get myself the Portal but I can’t seem to find it in white (or grey, whatever lol) anywhere and my dealer says they’re still at least two months away. I’m somewhat reluctantly leaning towards the H95 as a result of that despite the cost, but if it’s comfy then I’m good.

My head typically doesn’t agree with the vast majority of headphones and the HD800 is the only headphone I’ve ever managed to listen to for extended periods (2-4 hours), and while I’d really love to try them on before buying them I’m unable to do so thanks to our current climate.

Comfort is pretty much my number one priority and if for whatever reason the Portal is more comfortable than the H95 then I’ll just have to wait I guess. But again as long as they’re in the same league as the HD800 I can make it work and I’d rather not have to wait two months for the grey Portal to arrive.

I’m quite insistent on my next headphones being B&O though but only because I already have a half dozen products in the B&O app and I really can’t be bothered install yet another app from another manufacturer otherwise I would probably just buy the Bose 700. Cheers!
