An old chap knocked on my door a couple of weeks ago and apologised for the interuption then asked if I was the chap who repaired B&O equipment! I probably shouldnt call him an old chap.....probably younger than me ;¬)......I told him I dabbled a little and enquired what his problem was "Beogram 3000 and a Beomaster 3000 I have had for 40 years required some attention he said......could i have a look?

What could i say.....so he brought it in and left it for me, he didnt know my name so im unsure how he found me, I have no knowledge of these decks so will be seeking advice from everyone.

Had a quick look as I was still working on the BG4000 at the time

Looks like it has been stored for a while......but seems to be complete, belt was off and felt very hard, the old fella left a new belt he had purchased....i suspect it will be needed

A look inside.....belt was already off, not sure if someone had removed it or if it had fallen off

Anyone got any words of wisdom on this unit before I start to haul it apart? Surprise
