Hi all,

I recently purchased a used mlgw type 1799 and had everything working perfectly. After about 3 weeks of use, I noticed it wasn’t connecting to my network. I tried to reboot and reset but can’t get it to connect and can’t access the web interface. When I turn it on, the green light is on for about 2 seconds and then goes solid red and stays that way. I did open up the case to see if there was any visible issue with the electronic components but don’t see anything obvious. I can’t find any specific info regarding my issue and hoping someone on the forum may have some ideas on the issue and how to fix it. When I originally set it up I updated the software and all my components works great. Not sure what went wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"Restarting ML Gateway with factory-installed software

To do this, switch ML Gateway off, and while pressing the setup button, switch it back on. Release the setup button after 5 seconds. This will start the system using the original factory software, but will not fix or replace the ‘broken’ software. You must to log into the system and perform a software upgrade to ‘repair’ the software."

Thank you for the suggestion but I have already tried that. It seems the mlgw is completely locked up and goes to a solid red light seconds after turning on. None of the reset options are working. I checked the setup switch to see if it was faulty but checked out ok.
