Hi there,

I just bough a second hand Beomaster 2200.

It just happen to not have sound at all, no background nois at all, no even static from FM receiver (with silent tunning of).

First thig I did was to check voltages coming out of the power supply. All voltages were present, but the +35VDC. This is the power that feeds the preamp.

I can see also that there are a couple of inputs, on the power supply board, that are marked as "fault switch right" and "fault swicth left" and come from power amplificar output.

What I can't understand from reading the schematics is if this issue is caused from a trigered fault switch or not.

Do you know what's the voltage, or lack of, to triger the fault on the power supply board.

What other reasons can this be?

Thanks,

Nelio
