Belkin Airplay 2 Audio Adapter- New alternative to Bluetooth for Beolit 15, 17, 20?

Everyone:

I just came across this product in a review.  I have not had the best experience using the Apple Airport Express as a streaming device because its DAC is pretty poor.  While the Chromecast Audio is much better, it won't work with iPhones or other Apple products unless the app it's using has Chromecast capabilities.  Have any of you seen or heard of this device, and do you know anything about the quality of it's DAC?  I would be very interested to know; if it's good, I would get it.  Thanks.

Not questioning your experience with the APE.

However, here is a test from way back then

It seems that the writer does not agree with you.

I don’t know the Belkin - but I fan’t think of it as much better than the APE.....and also not worse.

Best thing to do is to get one online, test it......and send it back, if you don’t *** what you hear.

The good thing is, that you actually can buy that - the APE is only preused available.

Apple Airport Express also delivers optical digital sound via its 3.5 mm minijack to the DAC of your choice.
