Hi guys, my Name il Thomas and I'm texting from Italy.
May someone please help decode some infos from the serial number label from my beomaster?
I'd like to know the manufacturing year and the factory original color finish.
I have find out that the rubber stamped code may be the factory colour, do someone knows what "E4" corresponds to?
And the series number? Mine is "series 01"
Please find a pic attached.
Thanks in advance!
Thomas
E4 = Light oak.Serie 01 has FM 88-108 Mhz (later had 88-104MHz).You cannot tell the exact production year from the serial number, but a qualified guess would be 1970-71.
Martin
Thank you Martin, do You maybe have a complete list of the colour codes please?
In the coming days I'll receive my Beogram 1202 TT and I'd like to verify the original colour of that machine too,
Is there a book, a site, or maybe an other source for these infos?
Thanks once more.
One last thing: where can I find the main differences between the many "series"?

You mostly can't.Start collecting and comparing.
E = Oak (Eg in danish)T = TeakP = Palisander (rosewood)H = White (Hvid in danish)
The digit after the letter usually tells the grain pattern, the batch number or the general appearance (large or small patterns, "color" etc.) for further matching.
Here, the different finishes for Beocord 1900 (left to right ; Palisander, Teak, Oak, White):
Thanks!
Since my beomaster 3000 has been repainted, do You think it may be possible to find a spare wood case in the original E4 version?
Thank Martin
May you please help me one more time?
How does the factory color identification works with the loudspeakers?
On the sticker there aren't any letters like E T P or H..
Please find a picture attached.. May you reveil me color and year of manifacturing?
Thanks
You cannot tell either from the label on speakers. You will have to look at the cabinet to see, if it's a match to your needs.Beovox S45-2 was produced from apprx 1978-1982.
Thanks, you've been very helpful as usual!
Hi Martin,
I'm looking for a owners manual for my beomaster 3000 to download, have you please some suggestions where to search for?
