I have three LC1 (light control) units, connected to the power supply in the wall and to an incandescent lamp. The power goes from the wall to the unit, but not from the unit to the end of the adapter plug where the lamp is connected. Fuse is good, cable has integrity. Are there two fuses? Im hesitant to open it up further. Cant seem to figure it out. Please advise would love to get these 3 working and control them with my Beo4 remote :-)
I only know one fuse in the LC1 which you apparently have already checked..
I would be very surprised if all three units had the same fault unless they had been connected to the wrong power source voltage.
What are the 4 digit type numbers of your three units?
I notice that you are located in the US so I would expect the 4 digit type number to be 2113 and the fuse would be a 3 amp fuse.

Thanks your kind inquiry and helping me think through this. The LC1s are now with a local tech and he is running into the same issue and cant seem to pinpoint it. I should have it back tomorrow, he wanted one more day to work on it. You are correct that it uses 250V 3A slow 20mm fuses. I gave him the green light to check on the other side of the motherboard (green part) and go deeper. Please let me know if you think of any potential workarounds or troubleshooting tips

The usual culprits are bad electrolytic capacitors. Once the LC1 is opened, check also the lithium battery.
These units are 30 years old. Checking capacitors is the first step.
I have two of them and they work fine. One stopped working about 5 years ago. Replacing one bad capacitor at the bottom of the unit solved the problem.

I've had some success on getting dead LC1s back to life by replacing the battery. Takes a bit of effort to disassemble though.
There's a few posts on LC1 repairs on this forum; pay attention to the procedure after replacing the battery.
