Would I ask if i knew?
Anyway I tried this morning, and as the post you refer to says: From Beovision 8 the display control was abandoned. Properly why you knew since you were stuck with an 8 for ages...
I will simply use the Beosound as a workaround.
And the BV8 is same as BV10 - basicly.
P.S. I loved my BV8…..and gave a damn about the (missing) display of my (then) BL5000/3000’s.
The display mainly made sense, when using these speakers in a (MCL) linkroom.
What would you want it to display directly connected to a BV10…..just curious?

Actually I just need the data stream,- for an Audrino driven status display in my B&O Master De Luxe 506 RG.

That explains it - but I should have known that it was for something of that kind 😎
