Good morning Beoworld !

After years of patience and searching i was able to assembly an ALL RED B&O speakers setup:

2 Beolab 8000s , 2 Beolab 6000s, 1 Beolab 4000 all in Red Colour  and i plan to buy a BL 11 or a BL 2 in the near future.

Now i wanna ask: in which way would i be able to connect all the 5 Speakers at the same time ?

At the moment i have an  Ouverture , but evene using splitters (i'm not a fan of splitters anyway) i would be able to connect 4 speakers …..

Should i use a Beosystem 2 or 3 ? Does it neeed a TV or can i use the Beosystem even without sa TV?

Many thanks in advace for your suggestions !

The answer very much depends on how you want to use these speakers!

Do you aim at a 2 channel aka stereo setup with multiple pairs of speakers - or are you thinking of a multichannel setup?

Best way - if you want the second solution - is definitely a B&O tv or a Beosystem  - however there you’d need the screen for setting up things etc.

Don’t you want a B&O based tv?

With a newer Beosystem (the BSys4) or one of the newer BV’s e.g. a BV11, you could create speaker groups from all connected Beolabs as multiple pairs (for stereo) in addition to using these as a multichannel setup with video content.

As for a solution without a Beosystem/BV with these functions I know of no solution….at least none that is this simple to manage and control.

There might be some audio processors out there to get that job done….but I guess the price also matters…or?

If video is not important and you just want 2 sets of speakers playing at the same time, you can could easily do that with the Ouverture - simply by daisychaining the speakers using Powerlink cables and setting the speakers for R/L, R/L respectively.
However, then you won’t need the fifth speaker, the BL4000. (A BL11/2 could be integrated there too).

MM

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Thank you for your kind and very detailed answer !

Actually i own a MK3 Beovision 7-32  but it 's located in another room and that thing is HUGE so moving it is not an option !

I would like to use all 5 speakers and the subwoofer at the same time, so in the end i'll probably  buy a Beosystem 2 or 3 , and a BV 6-22 or Beocenter 6-23 as a monitor !

Maybe use an Xtra Active speaker kit? You could even rig it so that you can control the volume of the different sets independently?
