Hello ppl, I have a Beocenter 9000 that works just fine - except: the sliding door over the tape deck does not work.

After some initial research, I found that the motor that drives the door does not run. I'm measuring 0(V) at both terminals, same thing at the connector for the motor leads on the display pcb. The leads for the cd player door (which works fine) measure 13(V) both, with obviously one of them dropping to 0(V) when the the door is opened or closed.

The Load Tape switch itself seems to work, triggering a relais (when pressed with the Beocenter in standby mode).

Any ideas? Common problem? Any help is appreciated.

btw. I have the service manual for BC 9500, which seems to be adequate for my purposes.

I have found that ic2 on pcb45 is faulty.

To replace it, I need to access the bottom of pcb45 (this is the top-right display pcb). I might be able to pry/force it up, from the plastic notches that are blocking it, but of course I would prefer to remove the board without forcing things. I don't see an obvious way to do this, nor is it mentioned in the service manual.

Any pointers? Thanks...
