B&O video "The Idea Factory"

I found a nice video about 'user interaction' at the product design department at Bang & Olufsen. They're talking about the user experience of the -at that time to be introduced- Beosound 5. Haven't seen this video before.

This was the year Apple released the IPhone.

I wonder how many in that video sat back in their chairs watching that launch, appreciating that by reinventing the mobile phone, listening and purchasing patterns would now completely change.

Then the IPad, apps like Spotify and companies like HMV going bust. These brilliant people made a clever and beautiful product, just as technology changed its tack with new physical mediums of digital control, be it the touch screen or streaming with devices like Apple TV/AirPlay.

And that's was just 6 years ago!
