Hello,
I've recently just been given a pair of Beovox S45-2 bookshelf speakers since the tweeter in one is no longer working. I've swapped tweeters to no avail so I check the crossover and there is some obvious fire/heat damage to the wiring and components. I'm going to replace every component except the inductors (they look unharmed), but I cannot find a list of components or a schematic, only for the original S45. Does anyone have at least the list of components, the schematic itself isn't necessary. The lettering is worn off on the components so I'd rather not risk guessing.
Thanks in advance.
Welcome to the forum, the S45-2 manual is available on site for silver and gold members. And has the schematic you are looking for
Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.
I see, I'm trying to repair these with as little investment as possible. Is it against the rules to share this information with Bronze members, if it is I understand and wouldn't want anyone to get in trouble.
Yes, it's against the rules.Beoworld needs funds to stay alive. Running a website like this costs a bit but we arenot unfriendly at all :
I could probably also find a complete good used working crossover filter in the dungeons butto place a wanted ad, you need to sign up...

Hi,
I also have a problem with my crossover capacitors - on an older system: Beovox 3800. Can anyone help me with the specification of the capacitors here as they are discoloured and I cannot read them.
Many thanks,
Kadivor
Welcome to Beoworld !
Capacitor kits are available for most Beovox speakers, including the 3800.Drop me an email for details.
