just a couple of questions regarding beomaster5 beosound5
set up and all works fine and hard wired ethernet cable to router now need to understand how to set up.
went into network setting and need to know what information do i put in the relevant boxes
1 client password
2 host name
3 location
after turning it on hard wiring to router it also still says network connection NO so I'm a bit perplexed
So no problems now
Managed to connect my windows 10 laptop and drag and drop music on beomaster 5
I'm well pleased now put all my music on by drag and drop
So no need for anyone to reply.

So what I did was set my laptop that I will only use for music and other small things to accept smb1 settings rebooted then on my network that was seeing my beomaster 5 and all music on I was unable to deleat or add.
So go into this pc and on top bar you have box with map network drive enter your b&o credential in for instance beomaster5 is my client name plus bm-user$
It looks like this
Driver z [ pick any drive]
Folder \\beomaster5\share$
Then finish and you will be able to see your music in share file on beomaster5 and delete and drag drop music onto you music file
If you search on google how to map network dive it will guide you
If you search Google on how to set smb1 on windows 10 it will explain
Good luck mine works perfectly
But you must have your beomaster5 on your network first
Any more info I'll try explain in more detail
But must say I was very very happy now I don't have to have beoconnect that was problematic for me
