Hi

I currently have 2 BPA1s and as I wasn’t using them, I decided to put one on my new sit stand desk and I’m using it as a PC speaker between two monitors

It’s great and i like it and it’s plugged in by USB-C to my laptop dock, which powers , charges, and plays the music with one cable.

Being that I have two monitors on a monitor stand, the design of this could lend itself to having a BeoSound Emerge between the two monitors and it might look a bit better and not have the USB C cable out to one side.

My question is, is the Emerge set up to also power, charge and play the music / sound with one USB-C cable like the A1? Or do i have to power with the USB C and use a 3.5mm cable as well?

I appreciate that the A1 I can use as a conference speaker whereas the Emerge I can’t.

Thanks

Yes, USB-C is pure power.
