Hello to all,
New members, first post.
We've just bought a pre owned 11 46, from a private seller, principally to make use of our 8000's, 6000's and 2 in a surround sound set up.
Having got it home we've connected it to a talktalk digital box and Samsung bluray player. Both work, but using the beo4 remote we cant navigate through the menu at all. The menu pulls up on screen but the arrows on tge remote do nothing at all. The green, red and blue arrows all do as expected, but we cant get into or move through any of the menu's, settings or options?
So we cant make use of features at all and having connected all of the speakers, arent getting any sound through them at all and cant get into the menu/ settings to see what we need to do !!
Have we been sold a pup, are we doing something wrong, or we wondered, has anyone come across a similar issue with this TV model?
All comments, advice or any suggestions will be very welcome. Many thanks.
Hi LV2021 and welcome to the beoworld forum.
Which remote do you use (meant is: which version of the Beo4)?
MM
There is a tv - and there is a BV
Many thanks for the greeting.
To be honest we are not sure how to tell?
It looks almost identical to the beo4 we use for our Overture, except the central " GO" button on the Overture remote is replaced with an unmarked " o" in the centre button position.
In addition, the TV remote has other different options on it compared to the Overtures remote, ......DTV .... V MEM.....TEXT.....A.MEM.
Does that help at all?
Do you mean that it has the small joystick in the middle - the socalled navi version.
It is small, perhaps 2mm diameter, has no markings on it and it's function seems to be to confirm selections. It sits in the centre of the coloured buttons used for shortcuts. It is definitely one of the remotes shown in the online manual for the 11 46.
Many thanks.
