mbolo01:Minimserver is a very good DLNA server
mbolo01:the B&O App tremendous gaps on this side.
Sadly no matter how reliable the server the Moment will make it as unreliable as itself.

Carolpa: aside other functions, the App is a DLNA controller, no more no less. How good one finds it as DLNA controller depend starkly on the used DLNA server (such as Twonky or Minimserver or.................). But the B&o app has never been a DLNA server.
I know that, what I meant is that Minimserver offers many options to expose the collection by different criteria to ease music search, much more than what Twonky and other DLNA servers do. The B&O App simply leverages what the DLNA servers are exposing where I would have expected from a premium vendor App a minimum of processing/caching/indexing to provide a decent and richer UI.
That said, when iTunes compatibility is turned on in the App, it acts a an ad-hoc DLNA server isn't it ?

As I understand it, it converts/presents the iTunes library as if it was a DLNA server source for the Moment.

We are almost saying the same thing. The B&O App, acting as a non discoverable DLNA server, streams the iTunes content to the DLNA renderer such as the Moment or any other B&O DLNA capable device configured in the App.
When using regular DLNA servers such as Minimserver, the B&O App acts as a controller between the DLNA server and the DLNA renderer.
