I realise I am asking for the impossible as B&O stuff has on the whole been beautify to look at and unique in looks, but I am after a SACD player that can fit in well next to my Beogram 7000 record player. Are there any SACD players that would fit on sympathetically with home of B&O equipment? High quality, minimalist, polished metal etc… Shame they don’t make the Beocenter 2 or Beogram CD, Beosound 9000 as an SACD machine.

I feel the short answer is, "no."  Partly this is because nothing has both enough silver-color to match the Beogram 7000 yet few or minimal pushbuttons.  The sleekest new unit I know of is the Mark Levinson 5101, mostly because it has so few and small buttons.  The newer Sony UBP-X800(M2) hides its buttons and has a sleek, featureless, front panel -- but is matte black plastic, not so good a match.  Perhaps look into an older Sony ES model, back from when they were doing wide, rectangular, flush buttons and a bit of glitz but the ES had fewer of the controls because "purity" of signal path and all that nonsense?

Examples with aluminium metal fronts:

Pioneer PD70AE has a brushed metal front:

There are enough SACD players to choose from, used and new. To help with the design choice, just search for SACD Player in e.g. Google Image search to find one that fits your personal taste:

Yep. Thanks for the recommendations. The Yamaha looks the closest and if it had those side wooden panels in Oak or Teak then it might work with 60s B&O or my Moment but it’s in a ghastly shiny ebony wood that reminds me of the interior of a car made to look expensive. The other option is a Luxman but their good players (D-10x) are super expensive but Luxman are good at future servicing. The choice is poor sadly and doesn’t work with well B&O. Might opt for a player that I can hide away.

These are pretty nice. I like the small chrome one.  Sadly just normal CD's.
