Hi all, I'm trying to find out why my Beovision 11-55 Mk4 has a blank screen. It powers up, but the screen is blank so im unable to enter the pin code.
I have finally downloaded the service manual and this evening decided to have a look inside.
When I took of the back cover, I noticed the power supply PCB is wet. It looks like the thermal pad is the reason for the wetness, as it seems to be breaking down? I did a quick google search but was unable to find out if this wetness could cause an issue, or if the wetness is from the thermal pad and therefore the PCB got too hot. But I couldnt find any answers to these questions. I know this is a very helpful forum, so I thought I would ask you. I look forward to your responses.
As regards the blank screen, I think its from the led backlighting (I've had a few lcd computer screens do this, and the repair is within my capabilities)
But maybe this power supply PCB being "wet" might be a secondary issue.

I feel like an idiot, when i did a better search I realised the wetness is not an issue.
Well I fixed it! I think it was just a cable that was loose. I'm Sorry it wasnt something more that I could document for the forum. But at least for me it was a nice and easy fix.
